CPRW – Since 1928, CPRW has been advocating on behalf of rural Wales. They are committed and passionate about safeguarding our countryside for the benefit of our communities, our biodiversity, our rivers, our landscapes, our language and culture and our visitors. They are the leaders of a new charter demanding a fair democratic transition to net zero.

Rethink RE-think: Don’t Break the Heart of Wales was set up in March 2023 in response to plans by Bute Energy Ltd to build up to 20 renewable energy parks across Wales, along with associated infrastructure and power lines.  Although RE-think’s efforts are focused largely on developments proposed in Brecon and Radnor, they have set up an Alliance through which they work with similar groups throughout the region.

caruteifi Caru Teifi is a Community Action Group based in Cellan and Llanfair Clydogau in Ceredigion. They formed in March 2024 to oppose the industrialisation of The Cambrian Mountains by Green Gen’s 52km Towy Teifi Pylon Line proposal and Bute’s Lan Fawr Energy Park along with other associated large-scale wind farms.

savethisland A non-political community interest group (CIC) made up of industry and legal professionals, engineers, energy experts, ecologists and business owners, united by one purpose: to expose and legally challenge the damaging policies driving the current rush towards “Net Zero at any cost.”
